Nicola preparing for the World Finals of the Goldwell Trend Zoom Color Challenge 2009 in Las Vegas on the 25-27th October. She is preparing model Jennifer Cox hair before they flew out.
Nicola says, “You always think it is famous people that get opportunities like this. I can’t believe I have the opportunity to be a part of this. I am really excited about going to Las Vegas and recreating my winning hairstyle for real, in front of a global audience. It will be daunting, but I’m really looking forward to it".

The Goldwell Summer Party - A chance to glam up and PARTY - see what we got up too
Liz has just run the first Goldwell Foiling Fundamental Course at the Vogue Interntaional Salon in Leamington Spa. The day course teaches the basics of 'the Easyfoil Method' of foiling, it is aimed at improving the creativity in stylists by giving them easy tracking of colours using the three coloured foils allowing them to concentrate on being creative. And the bubbles continued into the evening in style at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Birminghamin as Liz was inducted into the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne to become a 'Champagne Dame'
The role of the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne is to promote the wines of Champagne, their unique features, their ways of consumption and everything which contributes to their reputation and their image as the most prestigious symbol of success and celebration.

Thursday 18th June was a very busy bubbly day for Liz O'Mahony, the Bubbles started at 12.00 with an Ascot Ladies Day at Episode Hotel, Leamington Spa to raising money for CURE LEUKAEMIA. Posh frocks, hats and bubbles had everybody in the mood for betting on the horse racing as you can see from the two pictures below. Over £500 was raised for CURE LEUKAEMIA.
Liz, Nicola, Sophie and Jamie have submitted their TrendZoom 2009 entries, we will hear whether we have made it through to the last 5 in each category at the end of June.
Nicola and Sophie have created Virtualist looks both starting from a very white base then adding splashes of colour.
Jamie has chosen a more natural creamier base with strong straw and coppery tones, and Liz has taken the Ecopolitan look with strong coppers and curls. Iain Burton Legge was with us all day to create the stunning make up to go with the girl's looks - www.iainburtonlegge.co.uk - Iain is a highly experienced make-up artist designer and have worked in the industry for over twenty years, based in LONDON and the MIDLANDS. He has extended his expertise into the area of teaching and teaches at The London Academy of Radio,TV and Film. All under the watchful gaze of brand direction Alan Peedle of acstede design.

On 28th March 2009 Liz O'Mahony(right) is taking part in a Arctic Sledding Experience to rasie money for Cure Leukaemia. The Challenge is taking a team of Alaskan Huskies amidst a frozen landscape, up to 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle in Sweden, with nothing to hear but the panting of dogs and the crunching of snow underfoot.
